anEditor’s Blog? A freelance editor?

the-freelance-editor is a professional editor whose editorial services are available, for hire, to any person or organization that needs them. My goal, and the goal of my team, is to collaborate with  you—the author, the originator, the content writer—to reach your ultimate goals:

  1. to say what you want to say
to the audience you want to reach and

  2. to have your readers concentrate
on your message, not your mistakes.

What do we do?

I, and a few hand-selected team members, believe that at one time or another (especially in the technology-centered world we now live in), most people will need to get words and information ready for publication—carefully crafting e-mail messages; building profiles and posting information on social media sites; creating blog entries or adding comments to the posts of others; sharing stories and jokes; or just writing for fun or profit.

At at the-freelance-editor, we work with experienced writers as well as rising authors. Our clients include bloggers and website or web page designers; developers of displays for trade shows and conferences; writers of personal history and historical fiction or young adult materials; exhibit designers and museum curators—all writing levels, most mediums, any publishing goal.

By the way, in addition to editorial services, we also provide ghostwriting, proofreading, and fact-checking services.
